Markham is a horror feature film written and directed by Matthew Cooper. Based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft.

The film is notable , as it was entirely improvised by the director and actors on coastal locations in North Yorkshire, including Staithes and Whitby.

The story is loosely based on ‘The Shadow Over Innsmouth’ a short story by H.P. Lovecraft.
